"Go, my Gengar, show this kid no mercy!" said Pluto
"Go Empoleon!" said Trainer

"Gengar, dark pulse." says Pluto
"Gengah-Ah" Gengar screeches and uses Dark Pulse

"Empoleon, use Hydro Pump." says Trainer
"Gengar, now fuse that Dark pulse with a Shadow Ball!"
"What? It got past Empoleon's Hydro Pump! That's powerful!" Trainer says when suddenly Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball hit Empoleon, paralyzing him.

"Ha. Cyrus never even got this far!" said Pluto, and he suddenly commanded.. "Use Shadow Force!!!!" And that exactly happened, Gengar disappeared.
"Use Trick Room" The trick room made Empoleon attack first, but it missed. Gengar then hit Empoleon. Smash.

Empoleon fainted.
