Sapphire has run away from her family- but how long can she stay hidden? Why has she run away? Along the way there are mysteries, adventures and a tragedy. But what happens?

I watched as a police car drove past. I stayed in the bushes. I didn't want to go back but the police were looking for me. Why did they care about me?
I'm not going back.
I wait until they have gone and I run across the road. I've got to keep running. No turning back. I can't go back there..Not to that place. Not now, not ever.

Chapter 1

I watch as my parents are making dinner. Dad doesn't usually help. He's only doing it to take his mind off me.
'The Devil Child'
I'm Sapphire Sigma, this is a story told by me on when I ran away from home, a race to stay hidden and when there was a tragedy.....
I've had enough of my family.
They don't care about me. Well, my parents hate me but I also have a sister 1 year older then me,I'm 14 years old so that makes my sister 15.
We like each other alot, its like we're best friends- her name is Larrissa Sigma.
I have to run away- even if it means leaving my sister. I've really had enough of my parents.
My sister creates a distraction and then I run and open the door.
I look at my sister.
"Thankyou..." I whispered.
I slammed the door shut.
"Larrissa, what was that?" asked my mum.
"Just the wind mum," Larrissa replied.
I ran across the road and up the street, passing my friends.
"Where are you going?"they asked.
I didn't stop to tell them, I kept running.
A few hours later...
I was still running and I wasn't sure where I was.
But anywhere from that place was good enough.
Then I hear sirens of an upcoming car,
The police.
They'd found out. My parents had found out.

I can't go back there..Not to that place. Not now, not ever.
So I keep running and soon I come across some houses, so I sneak round the back of one and try and hide from the police.
I'm leaning against something and then I fell through.
I blacked out afterwards.
About an hour later.....
"Hello?" yelled a voice.
I slowly woke up and looked around
"Where am I?"
I looked up at the stranger.
It was a boy around the age of 13.
He prodded me with a sharp object.
"Ow!" I screamed
"Who the heck are you?" he asked.

I'm doing it in italics so that when I write a comment at the start or end saying "Tell me what you think" you wont get it mixed up with the story, if you know what i mean
