Granted, by some incredible feat you reach the position of head of power across the entire globe! You build yourself a lovely palace in Florida, and have some underlings to manage everything while you enjoy your ultimate power. However, somebody with no common sense whatsoever foolishly decides to challenge your power and causes a mutiny! You try and fight for your power but the fact is that the 100 + countries in the world can't agree to defend you or anything, so in fact the foolish no-sense revolutionary wins the day .....too bad!

To put it simply, the cryogenic chambers aren't ready to transport into the past, where warriors were common and fame didn't rise. Therefore, you just keep dreaming!

Wish granted. Your head is so full of the world's languages though, that you get a huge headache and now you know these words, but forgot what they mean and just speak jumbled up sentences.

I wish I was humorous.

You become humorous, so humorous (here's where the bad part starts, you're the mayor!) that people just laugh at everything you say and you cannot build anything unless you have everyone's opinions.

I wish I was numerously envied.

Wish granted...you were the only person to have all your arms and legs chopped off, your stomach removed, your heart scraped against an iron wall (btw you survived somehow) and were envied by your friends and family for all the media attention you received.
