I've seen a forum that might not have a high post count of significant posts, but keeps their game threads filled with activity by members and mods hosting individual game tourneys (over wi-fi). This can apply for games like Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Pokemon. I've seen that activity overall to this site has been slow so this might be a way to get more people here.
