| I draw quite a lot of random art that's related to the pokemon franchise somehow, so i thought I'd make myself one thread that can encompass it all. I'm looking for comments/criticism, so that i can improve and also post these pictures elsewhere. Requests are also welcome =D Firstly, I'm considering producing a fakedex, here are some of the one's I've drawn recently on MS Paint: Water Starters : - Based upon the great crested newt growth cycle, with the final evolution looking a little crocodilian. The names are compound forms of Aqua/Axolotl, Marine/Newt, Salamander/River. They are all pure water types. Grass Starters: Based mainly upon the Hornbill, but also a touch of toucan, and the green colouring of a quetzal (Just mixing in rainforest birds). The names are compounded from Verde/Bill, Avian/Bill and Tropical/Toucan. They are all grass/flying, which I believe has only arisen so far with Tropius. The fire starters need to be done again, I'm happy with my plan, just not the finished product! And finally a random Ice-type and its evolution, as yet unnamed, though based on a lynx/snow leapord creature with a handy mace as a tail. I also haven't decided whether the evolution could pass off as steel/ice: Then I also have some other odd pictures, this one you may have already seen. It's my idea of a skarmory as a robotic bird, with wires, circuits and the likes: This next one is a one-off sprite that I drew from scratch using a magnifying glass and my pokemon red version. I just love the Arcanine from the older generation games! And finally a signature pic I created for fun - C & C are appreciated! Pirate |

| Thank you for your comments! Criticism is allowed too, you know =P Well, I've been crazily busy, but I have one new picture to upload, at least: It's my slightly different idea for a female lead character, though I don't think the costume design quite fits the franchise. I like her outlook though, and her personality is strong, and cheerful, but not arrogant ^_^ Pirate |

| OK well you asked for C & C and I'm going to give it to you. Without being mean of course.
Well I think the neck is a little too wide for her shoulders. Her whole body matches the rest, but the only thing that stands out is the neck. She also has small feet, but that's okay.
Hope I wasn't mean.:p _________________ If you require an urgent response to any sort of question or suggestion, please feel free to e-mail me at uzicordero@gmail.com.

| Hehe, Pirate's fine with me; you've seen me around on Serebii, right?
Anyway, Fox, now that you mention it, it does look as though the feet and neck are out of proportion. My anatomy of people in drawing has never been great, so it really helps that I know where to fix this pic. I'll make the changes when I have some free time! Thank you for your comments.
I'll try and work on some christmassy pokeart before the big day ^_^ Pirate/Anne |

I've noticed that necks on humans are a very common problem. |

| Well,I guest am the only one who didn't post yet on your new drawing. I have to say the only bad thing is the neck.Everything else is good, and she does not seem like a starting poke-trained.She looks like a poke-rival. _________________ I like to play cbeebies games

Hmmm, perhaps, but maybe it good be a set-up where you choose the male/female lead and the other becomes your rival =P I may not be creating a male character for some time, all my male drawings look really effeminate! I'll get round to sorting the neck eventually...She looks kind of pale too, I've just realised...

Yay, someone else who prefers drawing animalia to people! I mean, I'd like to draw people too, but for some reason it just seems so much harder...
Thanks everyone, for all your comments! And here are my promised Christmassy Pics ^_^ I do like this time of year!
Stantler, with some tree decorations stuck on it. She seems a little surprised, I don't think she volunteered to have baubles hung on her ears =P
And this is for my signature on Serebii, Delibird & Delibird Pokemorph guy. The lyrics are from 'Spirit of the Season', my favourite non-carol Christmas song ^_^
