I played a guy, lost my queen in the beginning of the gameplay, then I won the game without the queen, while my opponent had one.

It's all about getting in your opponent's head. One mistake and you're screwed, lol.

It's all about getting in your opponent's head. One mistake and you're screwed, lol.

The game is about pressuring the king. Whoever can apply a steady "check" to their opponent will force them to protect one piece at the expense of others. I hate facing people who "check" my king in the beginning of the match, I almost never win.

Yes, you're correct. You have to think what's going to be the next move of your opponent. You have to get in their head. Think - be both players. Decide why your opponent made that move. What is he/she trying to achieve in 3-5 turns of the game. That's just how I play. You can tell I can't be beaten easily, tongue

I have not heard of the 3 move checkmate. I'm gonna Google that now.

Jeez, Big Bang. You sound like a scary player, haha. My strategy is more for fun than practical, but I basically attempt to remove every one of my opponents pieces before I get the checkmate. It's a long, but oh so rewarding process. Twisted Evil
