| I love Pirates of the Caribbean, but my favourite fim (a trilogy) is Lord of the Rings. It's profound, and built upon layer by layer of meaning, and different messages of morality, whilst also building in entire cultures, language and histories. This is probably why it can be such a drag for some people, but not for me ^_^ I especially liked the story of the ents...
If I have to pick which film from the trilogy, then it has to be "The Return of the King". Magnificent!
